Midland Holiday Park is not your average caravan park.
Located at Lima South in the beautiful North East of Victoria, Midland Holiday Park is a blend of bush camping with some modern conveniences thrown in for good measure.
At Midland Holiday Park, you won't find sealed roads, manicured sites or jumping pillows. What you will find is a lovely bush setting surrounded by lush mountain ranges and an abundance of native wildlife. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for those seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You will smell gorgeous clean fresh air, hear kookaburras laughing in the evenings and experience some pretty great hospitality too.
The park itself is situated on 50 acres at the base of the stunning Strathbogie Ranges and offers campers and holiday makers the opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquil bush surrounds, whilst also enjoying the park's many facilities.
Featuring an on-site Café and kiosk, an in-ground swimming pool, on-site motor bike track, children's playground, fully equipped camp kitchen/rec room and a lovely picturesque dam stocked with fish, there's something here for everyone.
Just four kilometres down the road is beautiful Lake Nillahcootie, a relatively undiscovered haven enjoyed by boating and water sport enthusiasts. Fisherman also enjoy these bountiful waters targeting Redfin, Yellow Belly and the renowned Murray Cod. Successful fish stocking programmes ensure that the lake maintains an abundance of those targeted species.
Twenty minutes north is the beautiful rural town of Benalla, while twenty minutes south takes you to gorgeous Mansfield; gateway to the snowfields at Mt Buller and the Victorian high country.
Local wineries, Swanpool Cinema, silo art trail, fishing, bush walking and hiking are among the many things to do and experience in this stunning region.
Resident owners Shaun, Kay and Stacey, along with Manager Tarsh, invite you to come and stay a while...you won't be disappointed.
